What is a Swaptop™ card?
Swaptop cards are magnetized, 3-piece cards players can deconstruct and rebuild themselves, pairing different characters with different abilities. They allow players to create their own custom cards before a game and also manipulate the powers and abilities of those cards throughout a game, adding a new interactive dimension otherwise missing from analog card games.
How water-resistant are they?
Swaptop cards are water-resistant enough to play in the pool, although extensive time underwater may eventually result in the peeling of the cards’ protective plastic layer. We do not suggest leaving your cards underwater overnight, but feel free to get them wet!
Is it safe to keep Swaptop cards next to my phone or laptop?
The magnets in Swaptop cards are about as harmful to electronics as a typical refrigerator magnet.
Will games be available after kickstarter?
Yes. It is always our intention to make our games available after the conclusion of a Kickstarter campaign online and hopefully in brick-and-mortar retail stores too!
Are more games going to be made available?
Yes! We are always working on new games, both Swaptop and otherwise.
